A lovely ride and mostly flat.

We started out on Ruta 5. Bonus is that there is a 6foot shoulder. The bad news is that it is busy and there are many trucks.

We exited the highway and headed to Trafun and Rio Bueno. The road was smooth and paved and getting off the highway was certainly less stressful.

The Last 10 km into La Union was excellent because there was a bike path lead us right through to down town.

The hostel was full and the Cabana that we though about was also full.

We asked at the cabaña if there was a place to pitch our tent and the owner allowed us to stay in our tent and use his extra room for eating and cooking.
