We took a day in Samara to relax.

this was, so far, the nicest spot. the beach is tranquil. There are few developments and it is quiet.

the last place we were at, Nosara, was very noisy and loads of development. Here it’s very quiet.

We stayed in the Bella Vista ( pronounces Vi—ya Beesta Spanish swaps the B’s and V’s.

Quiet and included breakfast. Juice, yogurt, fruit, eggs and toast.

When we left it was POURING and thunder. WE packed up and figured we’d be getting wet. The rain didn’t last long and we were happy to be riding in the over cast because when it is sunny it is very hot.

Our route was up and down.

and two giant humps that e we knew were going to take a lot of effort. And they did.

The rain stopped and we took our time meandering through the jungle.

Along the way Bob would ride ahead. Stop. Then come back and help me with my bike up the hills.

At one point he was so wet and sweaty, he took his shirt off and wing the water out of it!

We arrived at our accommodations and made a healthy supper of spaghetti and cucumber and tomatoes.

I have to say we are pretty tired and rethinking the whole camping thing. E haven’t camped yet and we would certainly miss that air conditioning.

We are safe and enjoying ourselves.
