We left our lovely site in Hari Hari and we're hoping for a rain-less day.

The Sun was out and little wind so conditions looked favorable.

During the last week or two there have been some significant rain events and the main road South, number 6 had been closed for road repairs and slips. Today we got to see some of those slips. One section was down to one lane because of road damage.

Today was all along hwy 6. The traffic was low and a few buses just for some interest.

A quaint town, Franz Joseph. Totally dependant on the tourists to the glacier.
