We hit the road and we’re very happy with the conditions. Some traffic but no large trucks like on the number 1. We had a few climbs and some thrilling downhill stretches where I reached 42.5 km/hour.

Generally it was a downhill tour of day and we were happy for that.

As we rode along the clouds pushed in and we were in some thick fog. We got out our lights and put on our reflective vests to make sure we were seen.
