The bike shop owner called. The parts are in!
We skedaddled down to the bike shop before Jaimie closed for the weekend and got the parts and repaired Bob’s bike. The actual time to complete the process was about 1 hour. During that time however, there were many interruptions. The phone rang, several people came in for parts and drop offs and pick ups.
it’s a successful shop and the owner is a friendly and helpful person.

Bobs front chain ring aka middle sprocket. You can see that the teeth are pointed and sharp. They should be squared off!
We took these few days off to enjoy the scenery and get to know Tarifa.
For example. Tarifa’s logo and community emblem is a dagger!
because Guzman el Bueno was defending his castle and the town of Tarifa from the Moors.
The Moors made an ultimatum saying that if Guzman didn’t give up Tarifa they would kill his son.
Guzman was brave and there are tapestries and depictions of Guzman’s wife pleading to save her son. But Guzman said, want him okay, and throw his dagger over the edge of the castle to the Moors so he could save his city.
