There was no worry about anyone mistaking our luggage. Our brightly coloured shopping bags tied with rope were left untouched as they circled around the luggage carousel.

And success, our bikes arrived! Unscathed.

We gathered our bikes and “luggage” and went into the pleasant quiet courtyard of the Seville airport to build the bikes.

Bikes re-assembled, by Bob. Tires pumped, by hand, by me we headed out of the airport of Seville and into the city.

The ride to the train station was uneventful. Through what I call the armpit of Seville. The garbage, water treatment, beside a derelict aqueduct, and thru what looks like an old abandoned industrial park. The map said, abandoned American hospital and there was a skeleton of a concrete building.

Onto the Train

We made pretty goood time through the weirdness of the abandoned buildings and thru to the city until the small drips of rain turned into a full on thunderstorm, complete with flashes. People (including us)went scurrying to find a dry spot until it passed.

we made it to the train station, soaked and squishy feet, and into our train.

On the train and onward to Cadiz!
