We had a great ride they waipou Forest.

And by great it was tough. Steady up hill climbs (3km of 5 and 6 percent) followed by enjoyable down hill they the canopy is the first.

Practicing Our Math

While at the camp ground we meet a young German cyclist who was also heading in our direction.

When we left at 9am we saw him and he told us that he was going to leave in a couple of hours. I said see you later. To which he smiled.

So the math question today is.

Bob and Laura leave campsite A at 9am and ride for three hours. Ben, young German cyclists leaves campsite A 2 hours later and passes Bob and Laura 1 hour later.

How old are Bob and Laura?

The Parkview Hotel

this was the trickier coordination bit of the trip. The road around Dargaville is busy and with a lot of trucks so we opted to get a ferry. The Kewpie Too. We had to wait in Dargaville for 3 days before the ferry left for Hellensville. This did give us some time to relax and to get my bike checked out.
