The day started off well and we had a good day in front of us. A great sleep in a comfy hotel leads to a perfect day. We had a good deal to cover, about 78km and with a good climb mid day or spirits were high

We passed some beautiful scenery including this gorge. The River gouging out the rock.

We made our turn to the gravel and were faced with a "road closed" sign. No worries. We just kept going.

And we made it to the Summit!
