An Early Start

we got up early for an Early start a head of the wind.

The first part of the day was excellent and we had good weather and wind. An interesting sculpture and some beautiful vistas.

Also saw a flock of flamingos.

The last part of the day the wind came up and we were fighting a head wind into the little town of Villa Tehuelches.

We settled in to our accommodations (the bus shelter) then went on to the El Patagonia restaurant to fill our bellies. Yum!

Wellllll.... They called it a Patagonian. Steak, ham, cheese and 3, count em' 3 sunny side up eggs! The bun/bread was the size of a dinner plate! Bob ate the whole thing... And a plate of fries! Yes... Bus shelter. We had to wait until the last bus left before we took out our sleeping bags. There were 4 young men waiting for the last bus... 😊
