Ruta 40 was a difficult ride with many stones and hills. We decided to pitch the tent at the back of the Abandoned police station. Apparently it had been open but now it's locked. We pitched our tent in behind the building in a sheltered grassy area.

It was cool in the morning and Frost on the tent and panniers.

Stopped at the only gas station for miles to get water and cookies!
